Plymouth
Rod & Gun Club is pleased to announce that it has an open
membership to those that wish to join!
Membership
Information & Fees
Regular Membership: $250 Initiation fee plus $125 annual dues. When applying, you must
appear in person at the Monthly Executive Board meeting held at the lower
clubhouse at 7:30PM every first Monday of the month, unless it falls on a
holiday.
Spousal Members:
Additional $30 with a regular membership. No initiation fee. Must appear
before the Executive Board.
Junior
Members:
$6 until their 19th birthday. No initiation fee. Is not required
to appear before the Executive Board. If the Junior Member goes to continued
education, membership will remain $6 with written proof of the continued
education.
Initiation
Fees:
The one-time Initiation Fee for joining the club is $250 for a regular member.
There is no Initiation Fee for spouses or junior members. Example: Family of
three (Husband, wife and junior member) join the club. Fees will be $250
Initiation Fee, $125 Annual Dues for the regular member and $30 for the spouse
and $6 for the junior member totaling $411. Regular member and spouse only need
to appear at the first meeting.
Applying After July 1st:
The Annual Dues drops to $62.50 for the regular member as half
of the year has passed. ($30 Spouse and $6 junior member annual
dues still apply). After October 1st,
the $125 Annual Dues fee is applied to the following year and membership for the
last three months of the year are free. Initiation fee still applies.
Senior Membership: You are considered a Senior member and your annual dues are waived when
you have been a Regular Member who has maintained your status with the club for
a total combined time of 15 years and have reached the age of 65 or above.
There are no Senior Citizen discounts.
Orientations:
Orientations
are held the first and second Saturdays of the month following
the Monthly Board meeting – prospective candidates may choose
which Saturday they wish to attend.
The first orientation is the Outdoor Range Orientation. This
orientation is held at the upper clubhouse, and consists of a
range walk through, explanations of the range rules, and
discussion of operating procedures for the outdoor range. The
orientation starts promptly at 8:45 AM. It lasts about an hour.
The second orientation is for the indoor pistol range at the
lower clubhouse and immediately follows the Outdoor orientation.
It begins at 10 A.M. and also lasts about an hour. Any person
who is being considered for membership, or who became a member
after October 2005 and possesses a LTC (pistol permit) will need
to participate in the live-fire portion of the orientation.
Please bring a firearm, 10 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear
protection. For those with and FID card, this will be a walk
through orientation.
