Indoor Pistol Range

The Indoor range is open to any active club member who has attended the indoor range orientation and their guests.  The indoor pistol range is located in the lower club house and is open year round.   Use of the range is by separate key which is provided to all members after attending the Indoor Range Orientation (see Requirements and Fees under Membership Info).

Fees are currently $2/members and $6/guest

This is an open range without a range master.  It's use is subject to the “Indoor range rules”. You should also have attended an indoor range orientation before using this range.

Range Orientations

Outdoor range orientations are scheduled for the two Saturdays following the monthly board meeting. The orientation is a walk-through of the Outdoor range and begins at 8:45 AM sharp. Rules and regulations and other pertinent information for the area are explained. If you have any questions regarding this orientation, please contact Walter Fray at

The Indoor range orientation will be held immediately following the Outdoor orientation at 10 AM at the Indoor Pistol range on the same dates. This is a live fire exercise and you will be required to bring a firearm (any caliber), a target, 10 rounds of ammunition, and eye and ear protection. (Targets may also be purchased at the range.)

.22 Fun Shoots

.22 Fun Shoots are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, starting at 7 PM. Details are posted on flyers located in the Upper and Lower Clubhouses.

.22 Pistol Night & Special Events

The club has a .22 Pistol team which meets every Tuesday night at 7:00 PM.  The team is involved in the Twin County .22 Pistol League, which shoots its matches at home and at other clubs in the league. All are welcome to join the team or stop by during home matches to observe. The team schedule is posted on the club's bulletin board in the lower clubhouse.

Big Bore Pistol Night & Special Events

Big Bore shoot are for .38 and above. They meet each week on Thursday nights at 7:00pm.  Anyone seeking a Sponsor or if you are a Beginner or Novice shooter looking to improve your shooting skills, stop by and talk to the members.

A Note About Professional Instruction On Club Property

Plymouth Rod & Gun Club policy expressly prohibits professional instruction on club property.  Violation of this policy will adversely affect your club membership application.  This policy is in effect due to liability and insurance issues.
